Maurice Hickman joined J.B.Corrie in 1970 as a fabricator, undertook welding training and was promoted to Supervisor in 1972.

He became Works Foreman in 1976, moving to production planning in 1978, and was appointed Works Manager in 1980 with responsibility for all aspects of the company's manufacturing processes.

After transferring to a position of Sales Manager in 1994, he joined the Board of Directors as Sales and Marketing Director in September 2000.

Heavily involved in producing the Code of Practice for Sports Fencing in conjunction with The Sports and Play Contractors Association, Maurice is a regular speaker at SAPCA conferences on Sports Fencing issues, and currently serves as a committee member on the Manufactures and Suppliers Group.

Maurice brings a wealth of experience to the TIA UK Board, having  obtained a certificate in Supervisory Management Studies and undertaken extensive training in Sales and Marketing.
