The membership elects an Honorary President at the AGM for a three-year term who presides over the Council and general meetings and is an ex-officio member of the Board of Directors.
The Council is elected at the AGM each year, to oversee future strategy and financial budgets, the annual accounts and to report to the annual general meeting and to oversee the Board of Directors.
Only full voting members may be elected on an annual basis by the membership to the Council, while to ensure continuity, the Vice-Chairman and Company Secretary are elected for two year terms in alternate years to the election of the Chairman.
The TIA UK is managed on a day-to-day basis by the Board of Directors that meets at least six times a year and is headed by a Chairman who, together with the Treasurer, is elected for two years by the AGM.
