TIA UK partner and global sporting brand Prince is offering TIA UK members 10% off goods purchased at their flagship Wimbledon store during the Championships.
The Prince store in Wimbledon Village situated on the High Street at the junction of Church Road and Wimbledon High Street is transformed during the Championships as players and fans descend on the store. According to Matt Evans, Business Services Manager, in-store signings like those with David Ferrer and the Bryan Brothers cause quite a stir.
In 2014 twins Bob and Mike Bryan who have won a record 106 ATP titles together, played tennis on the pavement outside the store, bringing traffic to a standstill. A similar level of activity is planned for this year. Over the weekend of 26-27 June, before the Championships start, Prince will be hosting a number of player signings. With dates and times yet to be confirmed it is likely that players will make appearances at local clubs like Westside too.
The club, an LTA Performance Satellite Club, situated on Woodhayes Road SW19 just off Wimbledon Common, is one of several Prince-sponsored clubs in the area. Prince will be staging what Evans describes as the “Winning Ball” tennis promotion. Every day during the tournament 1,000 balls, each with a unique number, will be given away on the Village High Street. On presentation of the ball in store the recipient will be given a mystery prize. Gifts range from money off vouchers to the opportunity to be kitted out head-to-toe in the latest Prince gear.
Balls will be handed out to passers-by near the Natwest Bank at the top of Wimbledon Hill between 10am–4pm each day, by “Mr Tennis Ball” and two assistants. TIA Members are offered the opportunity to enjoy a 10% discount off every purchase and, if lucky enough to receive a uniquely numbered tennis ball, a mystery gift as well.

Official store opening times are 9am – 9pm but as with most things Wimbledon, store-shopping times reflect the footfall of people going to, and returning from, the All England Club.
