Surbiton Racket & Fitness Club

Surbiton Racket & Fitness Club- one of the countries most established and prestigious tennis clubs with a modern and forward-thinking attitude to the game.

Surbiton Racket & Fitness Club was established in 1881 making it one of the oldest clubs in the country. The club has a fantastic history with pre-Wimbledon grass courts events being held at the venue for many years, with huge stars including Roger Federer, Tim Henman, Andy Murray and Billie Jean King all having played on the club’s world class grass courts. The Club currently plays host to The Aegon Surbiton Trophy, one the events in the LTA Aegon Trophy Series, part of the ATP and ITF Challenger Tour.

The club has 11 world class grass courts, 3 artificial floodlit clay courts, two courts indoors in a seasonal dome and 4 outdoor floodlit hard courts. We aim to offer a fantastic experience for players, with a highly active programme of leagues, tournaments and social events combined with the world class facilities, where alongside the tennis facilities there are also 4 squash courts, a large gym and a studio with fitness classes.

The Club also offers a high class tennis coaching programme with experienced coaches who can cater sessions for players of all levels. There is an adult programme, a junior club programme and a junior performance programme. Surbiton is also an LTA disability hub centre, offering inclusive tennis for all.
